There's always a fight always an argument There's more days that are bad than that are good Always this tension that never eases Each day it starts over again The fights the arguments with each one the tension grows more Like a guitar string strung too tight It it only takes one more stroke before it all breaks But until then its a never ending spiral

I pull out my hair scratch my scalp I can't sleep tossing and turning in the dead of night And for what? All the worrying, uncertainty of how things will play out If I'll ever amount to what they want to be It all makes me feel and look like a zombie

She's supposed to care for you Love you unconditionally Give you support in everything you do Instead she abandons you Denys you her love And tears you down because of who you are A mother is the person you can talk to But you hide away fearful of her judgment A mother is not the person who makes you feel unloved and unwanted Yet she is She's the one who hates you

They hold each other's hair when they get too drunk They pretend to be gay lovers when their hit on by ugly guys in bars They don't get creeped out when they accidentally spoon each other in their sleep They can be all grown up and still stay up late and giggle for hours No matter how old they get they'll always feel like teenagers around each other They'll be best friends until their too old to remember And then they'll just make new memories
